Time to stop fooling around and actually write something here.
I’m pretty satisfied with how things are coming along with the development of this site. I’ve got a specific direction I’d like to go with it, but for now, just getting it up, running, and looking good is the focus. I’m working on a logo idea, but Illustrator is slow going for me, simply since I’ve not used it much before. Give me an image that is already designed and I can add to or modify it, but actually creating something out of nothing isn’t a forte of mine, computer graphics-wise.
I’ve been looking through the codex for WordPress, which is pretty interesting reading, though at the stage of CSS I’m at, some of it is over my head. The good news is that I’m starting to get the hang of things, and I see a realm of possibility opening that I’ve not had online before. And it’s pretty exciting.
If you’re reading this (other than three of you or so), congrats. Either you’re going back into the archives, or you’ve found this before I’ve let anyone know. At any rate, you rock.

"So much for Objective Journalism. Don’t bother to look for it here -- not under any byline of mine; or anyone else I can think of. With the possible exception of things like box scores, race results, and stock market tabulations, there is no such thing as Objective Journalism. The phrase itself is a pompous contradiction in terms." About
